Dana White: ‘Highly doubt’ Greg Hardy can make it in UFC

Hardy is reportedly setting football aside to focus on mixed martial arts.

UFC president Dana White has questions about whether or not former NFL defensive lineman Greg Hardy can actually make it in his league.

Hardy is setting football aside to focus on mixed martial arts.

“Is he good enough to come into the UFC and fight? I highly doubt it,” White told Fox Sports’ “Speak For Yourself” on Friday. “I’ve been playing football for a couple weeks too, maybe I’ll try out for the [New England] Patriots.”

The free-agent spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys, totaling six sacks in 12 games. He was suspended the first four games of the season following a domestic violence incident.
