Speaking at his Charlotte Hornets introductory press conference Friday, new signee Lance Stephenson says he brings "more to the table than blowing in someone's ear," according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.

Stephenson was referring to an incident during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals when he blew in the ear of the Heat's LeBron James during a stoppage in play. Both James and Stephenson brushed off the tactic, but it drew Stephenson more notoriety during a series in which he made headlines for his off-court comments.

More from Stephenson's press conference:

The signing of Stephenson, who averaged 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game last season, came as the Utah Jazz matched the Hornets' offer sheet to forward Gordon Hayward. Charlotte also saw forward Josh McRoberts leave to sign a four-year deal with the Miami Heat.

Earlier Friday the Hornets re-signed point guard Jannero Pargo.
