Stephen Curry says he, Thompson would beat LeBron, Love in 2-on-2

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry said he and teammate Klay Thompson would beat LeBron James and Kevin Love in a game of two-on-two.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Currytold Bleacher Report he and teammate Klay Thompson would beat LeBron James and Kevin Love in a game of two-on-two.

Curry, who said last week he is a better offensive player than James, said the Golden State duo's three-point shooting ability would allow them to edge Love and James.

"It could happen," Curry said with a laugh about the chances of the Warriors duo beating the soon-to-be Cleveland Cavaliers teammates.

Curry and Thompson are currently training with Team USA as the team prepares to begin the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain later this month.

While the Warriors were reportedly interested in acquiring Love during the offseason, they were not willing to include Thompson in a trade.
