The Utah Jazz have waived Jordan Hamilton, the team announced on Thursday.

The Jazz claimed the 6-foot-7, 220-pound small forward off waivers in October. He did not play in Utah's (2-3) first five games this season.

Hamilton, who was selected in the first round of the 2011 draft, played more than two seasons with Denver before being traded to the Houston Rockets last February.

Over 60 games last season, Hamilton averaged 6.7 points and 3.2 rebounds.
