Chris Bosh scheduled to resume basketball activities in September

Miami Heat center Chris Bosh is scheduled to resume basketball activities in September, the team announced Monday.

The team previously announced that Bosh will miss the rest of this season after was diagnosed with blood clots in his lung last month.

[daily_cut.NBA] Bosh was hospitalized for about a week while being treated and was released on Feb. 28. 

Over 44 games this season, Bosh averaged 21.1 points, seven rebounds and 2.2 assists in 35.4 minutes per game.

The Heat (28-34) are currently tied with the Indiana Pacers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
