The New Orleans Pelicans announced the signing of point guard Toney Douglas on Friday.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Pelicans add a point guard who appeared in 12 games for New Orleans during the 2014-15 season. He averaged 4.3 points and 2.0 assists in 14.8 minutes per game.

Douglas played for the Indiana Pacers during the 2015 preseason and averaged 6.6 points, 1.6 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals in five games. Douglas has played for six teams over his six-year career.

New Orleans (0-2) looks for its first victory as the Pelicans host the Golden State Warriors (1-0) in their home opener at the Smoothie King Center on Halloween.
