Knicks’ D-League team drafts former No. 10 pick Jimmer Fredette

The Westchester Knicks of the NBA Developmental League have drafted Jimmer Fredette.

The Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League have draftedJimmer Fredette with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NBADL draft.

Fredette was most recently in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, who released him before the start of the regular season. Fredette was drafted 10th overall in the 2011 NBA draft. 

Fredette has averaged 6.1 points, 1.4 assists and one rebound per game in the NBA. He spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans over the course of four seasons. 

In 2011, Fredette was the NCAA Division I scoring leader and national player of the year. He has played in a total of 229 NBA games.
