Saturday November 28th, 2015

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade paid tribute to slain teenager Laquan McDonald on his shoes Friday night.

McDonald, 17, was shot 16 times by a police officer in Chicago in October of last year. Dashboard-camera footage of the shooting was released to the public last week.

Wade grew up in Robbins, Ill., a suburb on the south side of Chicago. He paid tribute to McDonald by writing his name on his shoes for the Heat’s game against the New York Knicks
