Timberwolves waive point guard Andre Miller
The Minnesota Timberwolves and point guard Andre Miller are currently finalizing a contract buyout.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived point guard Andre Miller, the team announced Thursday.
Miller, 39, is looking to sign with a playoff contender, reports The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Miller has played in 26 games for the Timberwolves this season. He is averaging 3.4 points and 2.2 assists in 10.8 minutes per game.
The veteran guard played in 81 games last season with the Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings.

The Timberwolves (18–40) currently have the fifth worse record in the NBA.
