Wizards’ Bradley Beal sprains pelvis in loss against Pacers
Wizards guard Bradley Beal left Saturday’s game against the Pacers with a sprained pelvis and did not return.
With Washington leading 73–68 midway through the third quarter, Beal went up for a layup and was blocked by Indiana’s Myles Turner. He went crashing to the floor, landing hard on his back.
Beal has missed time due to shoulder and leg injuries this season.
The Wizards fell 100–99 after Pacers guard Paul George hit a pair of free throws with three seconds left to finish with 38 points.
Indiana improved to 33–30 while Washington fell to 30–32 and 2 1/2 games behind the seventh seed Pacers.
