LeBron James and Draymond Green had a heated moment at the end of Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

As the Warriors worked to hang on to a late lead and the Cavaliers fought back on their home court, the two forwards got tangled up at center-court. James then attempted to step over Green, which led to some choice words and eventually a small on-court scuffle.

The call on the floor was a double foul.

Closer inspection of the video revealed Green taking a shot at James that went unnoticed by the referees.

James addressed the altercation after the Cavs’ 108–97 loss to the Warriors.

“Some of the words that came out of his mouth was a little overboard,” James said. “Being a guy with pride, a guy with three kids, things of that nature, some things just go overboard. That’s where he took it.”

Green is two technical fouls away from being suspended for one game, according to NBA playoff rules. He had five entering Game 4. The NBA is investigating the incident, reports ESPN, but no timetable has been set for a decision.

If Green is assessed a Flagrant 1 foul, he would be suspended for Monday’s Game 5. Green would miss Games 5 and 6 if he receives a Flagrant 2 foul.
