Indianapolis Colts running back Vick Ballard says he passed his physical and has been cleared for football activities, reports Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star.
Ballard tore his ACL last September and played just one game in the 2013 season. He rushed for 814 yards and two TDs in 2012, his rookie year.
Ballard will share the backfield with former first-round pick Trent Richardson and former New York Giants back Ahmad Bradshaw.
