Philadelphia Eagles release depth chart: Brad Smith starter

The Philadelphia Eagles released their first depth chart of the preaseason, ahead of their Aug. 8 preseason opener against Chicago. Veteran Brad Smith is listed as the starter at one wide receiver spot ahead of heralded rookie Jordan Matthews, and former Jet Mark Sanchez, who signed with Philadelphia this offseason, is listed as the backup quarterback behind Nick Foles.

Nate Allen, a second-round pick in 2010, is listed as the starter at one of the safety spots.
