The Cincinnati Bengals finished the 2013 regular season with their best record since 2005, going 11-5 overall and winning the AFC North title. However, Cincinnati lost in the Wild Card round for the third straight season, this time at the hands of the San Diego Chargers.

Offensively -- led by quarterback Andy Dalton and wide receiver A.J. Green -- the Bengals were one of the more best teams in the league last season, finishing sixth in points scored and 10th in yards gained. They were also strong defensively, finishing fifth in points allowed and third in yards allowed.

This offseason the Bengals lost defensive end Michael Johnson to the Buccaneers in free agency. However, Cincinnati drafted defensive back Darqueze Dennard in the first round out of Michigan State and signed safety Danieal Manning from the Houston Texans

The Bengals also welcome back defensive tackle Geno Atkins to the starting lineup after Atkins was forced to miss the second half of the NFL season last year with a knee injury.
