The wife of Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes unleashed an expletive-filled Twitter rant Monday, criticizing the NFL on its scheduling procedures as well as its handling of the Ray Rice domestic violence case. The explicit tweets can be read here.

Grimes was denied an appearance fee for leaving a practice at the Pro Bowl in Phoenix to be with his wife, Miko, while she was undergoing a dental emergency, she said.

She also voiced her disappointment that her husband did not take home the game's defensive MVP honors, and said that the league is hurting players by making them play Thursday night games that require a shorter turnaround than normal from their usual Sunday afternoon games.

She characterized the NFL as the "shadiest" and most "disrespectful" organization in the world, and said the league only got involved in the Rice situation after a videotape surfaced showing him striking his then-fiancee.

Brent Grimes, a three-time Pro Bowl defender, signed a four-year, $32 million contract during the 2014 offseason. He had 57 total tackles, with five interceptions in 2014 for the Dolphins, who have missed the playoffs in each of the past six seasons.
