Mr. Irrelevant: Gerald Christian of Louisville picked last in NFL draft

Louisville tight end Gerald Christian because 2015's Mr. Irrelevant when he was selected by the Arizona Cardinals Saturday.

Louisville tight end Gerald Christian became 2015's Mr. Irrelevant when he was selected by the Arizona Cardinals 256th overall on Saturday.

As the last pick of the draft, Christian will be invited to "Irrelevant Week" in Newport Beach, California this summer.

Christian caught 64 passes for 882 yards and 10 touchdowns in three seasons at Florida and Louisville. As a senior in 2014, he had 32 catches, 384 yards and five tocuhdowns.

The Arizona Cardinals have five tight ends currently on their roster.
