Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor could hold out for the entire season, according to The MMQB's Peter King

King told SI Now's Maggie Gray that the Seahawks are preparing to be without their safety and defensive leader for a long time.

“They might play the season without him,” King said. He discussed how Chancellor's knee injury last season has impacted his decision to sit out, and just how long the process could take.

Chancellor has been frustrated by contract talks with Seattle and has been holding out for a new deal, skipping training camp and the preseason entirely. Marshawn Lynch showed up to practice this week wearing Chancellor's jersey in a show of support.
