New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys with a partly torn pectoral muscle, according to The New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano.

Amukamara missed eight games last season with a torn biceps muscle.

On Wednesday, Amukamara warmed up with teammates and watched individual drills.

In five games this season, Amukamara has recorded 32 tackles, seven pass defenses and one interception, also forcing a fumble.

Jayron Hosley is expected to see more playing time in Amukamara's absence.

The Giants are coming off a three-game winning streak that was snapped by the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.
