Dolphins fire offensive coordinator Bill Lazor after loss to Jets
The Miami Dolphins have fired offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, according to a source.
The move comes a day after the Dolphins fell to the New York Jets 38–20, their fourth loss in their last five games. Miami ranks 27th in the NFL in scoring offense and 26th in yards per game.
The 43-year-old Lazor was in his second season coaching the Dolphins’ offense. He came to Miami after serving as the quarterbacks coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013.
