The Chicago Bears have placed wide receiver Alshon Jeffery on injured reserve to end his season, the team announced Wednesday.

Jeffery did not play in last week’s 26–21 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he nursed a hamstring injury. With Jeffery set to miss Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, he will have missed seven games in the 2015 season.
