Report: Ravens RB Trent Richardson to undergo knee surgery

Baltimore Ravens running back Trent Richardson is expected to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery and will likely miss some playing time, reports Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun.
The surgery will be another setback for Richardson after he missed off-season practices three weeks ago with a hamstring injury.
Richardson is trying to make the Ravens final roster after not playing at all during the 2015 season.
He was the No. 3 pick in the 2012 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns, but has been ineffective during his three-season professional career. He has logged 2,032 rushing yards with 17 touchdowns across 37 games and has averaged just 3.3 yards per carry during his career.
Despite his uninspiring professional performance, Richardson said earlier this month that he believes he can play well enough to one day be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
