A Wisconsin man was stabbed outside his home on Sunday after another man vandalized the Vikings inflatable in his yard, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Dave Moschel, 36, was sitting down to watch Sunday Night Football when he heard someone outside his house. He went out to find a 21-year-old man using a box cutter to slice up his inflatable Viking. When Moschel confronted him, the man turned the box cutter on Moschel, stabbing him seven times in the head and near his eyes.

Moschel was not critically injured, but was taken to the hospital to receive stitches. Moschel said he has no plans to take down the inflatable, despite living in Packers country.

"Luckily, I didn't have my concealed carry on me at the time," Moschel said. "Ninety-nine percent of the time I leave the house, I never leave without it. And this is the one time I did. I'm kind of glad I did, because he would have been dead, and I would have had to live with that."

The vandal was arrested on suspicion of reckless endangerment and criminal damage to property.

The Vikings were informed of the incident and have invited Moschel to attend a practice and Minnesota's game against the Cardinals in Week 11.
