Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly speeding while in possession of marijuana and a firearm, CBS Philadelphia reports.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Huff was allegedly speeding over the Walt Whitman Bridge.

The Eagles released a brief statement on the matter.

"We are aware of the incident today involving Josh Huff,” the team wrote. “At this point, we are gathering more information."

Huff's attorney says that the third-year player is licensed to carry a weapon in Texas.

Huff was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was released from custody after posting 10% of a $25,000 bail.

Huff, 25, was selected by Philadelphia in the third round of the 2014 draft out of Oregon. He has caught 13 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown this season, also serving as a returner on special teams.
