NFL Week 8 Picks From the MMQB Staff: Brock Purdy Set to Lead 49ers Against Bengals

Our writers and editors pick a winner in all 16 games.

It’s Week 8! Two weeks of big upsets have hurt our season records a bit, but we are back for another try.

UPDATE: News broke Saturday that Brock Purdy cleared concussion protocol, which means he is set to start one of the biggest games of the week, as the 49ers take on the Bengals

Other intriguing matchups include a battle of high 2023 draft picks, as Bryce Young and Panthers host C.J. Stroud and the Texans.

It should be an interesting week, with games impacting not just the playoff picture but the trade deadline.

Here’s who is picking games this season:

Red squares denote upsets. The Vikings-Packers game was a pick ’em at the time picks were made. The Purdy news broke just as our picks were made, but the 49ers appear to still be favorites.
