Toronto mayor Rob Ford can't seem to stay out of the news. Sunday was no exception.

A Canadian musician, Mays earned fame in 2005 with his hit "Cocaine Cowgirl."

PerĀ Steve Ladurantaye of the Globe and Mail, FordĀ left the seat in question at 5:27 p.m. ET after a crush of attention from media and fans. Ladurantaye later reported that Mays had reclaimed the seat from the embattled Toronto mayor, a fact Mays confirmed later. Guess all's well that ends well, eh?
