Americans took silver and bronze in the women’s balance beam final on Monday in Rio.

Laurie Hernandez, 16, finished second to become the youngest American gymnast to earn an individual gymnastics medal since Shannon Miller in 1992.

Simone Biles, who many thought could win five gold medals at the Rio Olympics, took bronze after putting her hands on the beam during her routine. Biles has won gold in her first three events (team, all-around and vault), and will have a chance at a fourth in the floor routine on Tuesday.

Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands took gold in Monday’s event.

Sports Illustrated broke down all the action as it happened live. Scroll down for a recap of the event from the Rio Olympic Arena in Brazil.
