LA Galaxy midfielder Giovani dos Santos scored on a beautiful chip on Saturday vs. Real Salt Lake.

Dos Santos received a pass from Emmanuel Boateng in the 45th minute at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., and created something from nothing. He rotated his body nearly 180 degrees to send a shot past the outstretched arms of RSL goalkeeper Nick Rimando. The goal gave the Galaxy a 4–1 lead and they would go on to win 5–2.

The goal was dos Santos’s third this season, with all three tallies coming in the last two matches. The Mexican international scored in a similar fashion against the United States in the final of the Gold Cup in 2011.

LA has 14 points and sits in third place in the Western Conference.
