Iceland won its first game in a major international competition ever in dramatic fashion, beating Austria 2-1 Wednesday and pipping known Iceland hater Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal for second place in Euro 2016 Group F.

Iceland didn't need a winner. It was already through as a third-place side and could've skated into the knockout round on the strength of three draws. But that's not how Iceland came to play, and when it got its winner, the emotion was palpable. The players were excited. The fans were excited. But most importantly, the home announce crew was excited.

Listen to the incredible call of what Arnor Traustason's 94th-minute winner sounded like on the home airwaves, as his sliding finish sends the announcer into a state of hysteria, jubilation and a series of loud noises:

One can only imagine what the call will be if Iceland can knock off England in the round of 16.
