Friday October 7th, 2016

The U.S. men’s national team travels to face Cuba in a rare meeting between the teams in Havana.

The international friendly is the first exhibition game on Cuban soil since 1947. The U.S. last played there in 2008, in a qualifier for the 2010 World Cup. The U.S. begins qualification for the 2018 World Cup in November, and gets a tune-up match on Friday against a team it has largely dominated in recent memory.

Rising star midfielder Christian Pulisic headlines a younger-leaning group of U.S. players after a string of strong showings with Borussia Dortmund in Germany.
