The Houston Texans were considered one of the AFC favorites before last season and got off to a 2-0 start.

Then the bottom fell out, as they lost their next 14 games, plagued by a offense that consistently turned the ball over and a defense that gave up almost 27 points a game.

The team used the No. 1 pick in the draft to select South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, with the plan to convert him to outside linebacker, and hired head coach Bill O'Brien, who spent the previous two seasons at Penn State.
