Kansas was the underdog in two of those losses, but also lost by 16 as -8.5 home favorites to Cincinnati. The Jayhawks are now just 5-5 on the road this season.

Arizona State is coming off a home win over Utah after two road losses in games in which it was the underdog. However, the Sun Devils are a solid 9-5 at home as opposed to 2-8 on the road.

Darryn Peterson is the presumptive first overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft, but his health has been an issue for Kansas this season. He’s played in just 18 games, but has been impressive when he’s on the floor.

The freshman is averaging 19.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game this season while shooting 46.5% from the field. He’s coming off a 24-point performance at Arizona after putting up a combined 31 points in his previous two contests.

This game absolutely screams UNDER. Both teams have gone OVER the total in just four of their respective road and home games, and Kansas is 20-9 to the UNDER overall this season.

I’m a bit surprised that this number is only at 151.5 given how both of these teams have struggled as of late.

I’m also tempted to take Arizona State as the home underdog, but will stick with the UNDER tonight in Tempe.
