UFC Taking Their Talents to Fight Island for UFC 251

UFC 251 Scheduled for July 11 from Fight Island
The Ultimate Fighting Championship plans on knocking out travel restrictions by taking their event to Fight Island. UFC President Dana White announced on ESPN that UFC 251 will take place on July 11th from "Fight Island," located in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The Mixed Martial Arts governing body plans on hosting four events from the island in July. Previously, UFC 242 was held on Yas Island, featuring a hotel, restaurants, training facility, arena, and of course an "Octagon" on the beach.
According to White, UFC 251 will feature three title fights: welterweight, featherweight, and bantamweight.
USWNT Wants Soccer Federation to Repeal Anthem Policy
The United States Women’s National Team is demanding the U.S. Soccer Federation repeal its Anthem Policy.
In a letter sent to the Federation, the USWNT says the policy, which prohibits kneeling during the National Anthem, “will continue to perpetuate the misconceptions and fear that clouded the true meaning and significance of Colin Kaepernick, Megan Rapinoe and other athletes taking a knee.”
Rapinoe has been on the USWNT since 2006 and kneeled during a match in 2016 to show support of Colin Kaepernick’s protest against police brutality and racial injustice in America.
In 2017, the US Soccer Federation implemented a "No Kneeling" policy during the national anthems at any event. The USNWT closed their statement with the following:
“We are committed to rising up against racist, hateful and unjust acts to effect change. Black Lives Matter.”
The US Soccer Federation has not released a comment.

There are over 7.1 million cases of the coronavirus worldwide, with 407,000 deaths.
The U.S. is inching towards 2 million cases with the total case count currently standing at 1,965,000 across the states. The U.S. has over 111,000 deaths.
Brazil is quickly rising in its case count, with the country now over 707,000 cases, and over 37,000 deaths.
On Monday, the World Health Organization said that data from the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic had led them to believe that it was, “very rare” for an asymptomatic carrier of the virus to be able to spread the virus.
This came after preliminary evidence from the outbreak pointed to people who were asymptomatic or carrying the coronavirus to spread it to others. The W.H.O. pushed for governments to focus on detecting and isolating symptomatic carriers.
On Tuesday, June 9, the World Health Organization walked back the comments about transmission. The W.H.O. said that the claims that it was ‘rare’ for an asymptomatic carrier to spread the virus was ‘misleading.’
