Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner Taken Top-25 in Latest Mock Draft

Gardner won't have to move far in this Draft day scenario.

CINCINNATI — Pro Football Focus unveiled their latest NFL mock draft on Monday, and Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner made another appearance in the top-25.

Trevor Sikkema has the Cincinnati Bengals selecting Gardner at pick No. 25.

"In what would be a bit of a hometown hero story, Gardner could stay in the city he currently calls home and play just a few miles down the road," Sikkema wrote. "At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Gardner is a very impressive athlete who can keep up with almost any receiver in the country. In fact, he hasn’t given up a single touchdown in man coverage. The upcoming College Football Playoff will be a great test of his abilities."

Cincinnati could be in the market for another starting cornerback if they decide to move on from Trae Waynes. The corner has a huge salary cap hit in 2022 and hasn't played much for the Bengals. Gardner has been a first-round pick in every PFF mock draft so far.

Gardner will showcase his abilities for all 32 teams in the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Eve. Cincinnati takes on Alabama at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
