In this story:

The Tennessee Volunteers have 20 total commits, including 19 commits in the 2027 class, while the Vols have one commit in the class of 2028.

Here is where each player plays, while some have already played, or will play in a week.

Commits Who Have Already Played

Seven Tennessee commits have already played to begin the week, as David Gabriel-Georges, Kesean Bowman, and Kenneth Simon II all played in a game that was featured on ESPN2 Thursday night. This was a game in which the Baylor Red Raiders, Gabriel-Georges' team, were victorious.

Niko Kampas also played on Thursday, as he and his team were victorious against Marietta in a high-scoring game. His team put up 44 points in the contest.

As for Jaden Butler, he and his team fell short in their season opener on Thursday. This was a game that was a heartbreaker, as the final score was 31-28 against Henry County.

The Tennessee Vol kicker commit, Ford Fehling, was a contributing factor in a blowout 77-13 victory on Thursday night. He is one of the better kickers in the country, to say the least.

The final high school player to play early is 2028 quarterback commit Kaden Craft, who helped lead his team to their first win of the season. The win was a 47-0 shutout.

Westview is looking to win a state championship in 2026, and a big part of that hope is based on who their running back is. One of the Vols' running back commits is set for a massive season with Westview, as all eyes will be on Asa Barnes in his season opener.

JP Peace, a legacy Vols' commit, is set to play one of the more interesting games of his season. Alcoa and Maryville are two of the biggest names in Tennessee high school sports, and the two will begin their season against each other tonight.

Derrick Baker is the gunslinger commit in the class of 2027 and is set to be challenged against the North Cobb Warriors. This is a banger of a contest and will be a great test for the Milton Eagles' gunslinger.
