College Basketball Season Set to Begin Nov. 25
The day before Thanksgiving we have one more thing to be thankful for this year, college basketball
The NCAA announced Wednesday that its Division 1 Council has set the start date for the 2020–21 college basketball season for Nov. 25.
The original start date for the season was Nov. 10 but the women and men's basketball oversight committees submitted joint recommendations to start the season on the 25th.
According to a report from the NCAA’s Andy Katz, practice for the 20-21 season can begin on October 14th. Programs must play a minimum of 13 regular-season games but will not be able to play more than 27. The Divison 1 council is also recommending a minimum of four non-conference games. There will not be any exhibitions or scrimmages played this season.
