US rider Neben wins women's world time trial for 2nd time

DOHA, Qatar (AP) American cyclist Amber Neben won the women's world time trial title for the second time Tuesday.

The 41-year-old Neben finished the 28.9-kilometer circuit in 36 minutes, 37.04 seconds at the Road World Championships in Doha. Ellen van Dijk of the Netherlands took the silver medal after finishing six seconds slower than Neben, and Katrin Garfoot of Australia was third.

Neben won the same title in 2008.

The men's time trial takes place on Wednesday.
