Newest billboard from Jets fans targets Tom Brady
Renowned for their billboards, New York Jets fans are at it again in the wake of Tom Brady's Deflategate suspension.
Months after "Fire John Idzik" billboards popped up throughout the tri-state area pushing the Jets to part ways with their embattled (and, indeed, eventually fired) general manager, a new gem has popped up: "#TomShady" signage with the team's ubiquitous "J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!" chant written below.
You see, Tom Brady has been suspended four games for his involvement in the New England Patriots' deflated-balls scandal, and Jets fans are quite happy. Their team isn't one of the four that will play the Brady-less Patriots, but they'd probably tell you that's just fine—the opportunity to get this billboard up was probably worth it.
