"What’s old is new again" and "fashion is cyclical," are cliches that enter vocabulary for a reason - because they’re true.

Case in point is the current big logo trend popularized in the 1990s and popping up on streetwear fashion from high-end designers to pop culture skate brands. The GAP logo, which has been around for decades, positioned as big as possible on sweatshirts, t-shirts and even down the leg of sweatpants is a perfect example.

Then and now, big logos aren’t just a fashion trend, but a way companies can brand and market themselves. Because marketers can reach public opinion on a much larger scale via social media, a logo sighted on a celebrity, such as model Gigi Hadid wearing a Tommy Hilfiger collab jacket, can create an overnight product sellout.

Puma Golf’s recently launched Big Logo Collection is designed to make a big statement.

"Our Big Logo Collection is a streetwear-inspired assortment of apparel, accessories and footwear with a golf spin. It’s designed with simple graphics, and big, bold branding. This is the perfect collection to make a statement and take your off-course style on the course with ease.” said Grant Knudson, Head of Product, Puma Golf.

Ambassador Rickie Fowler has worn the quarter-zip jacket ($80) on tour and is expected to don more of the pieces in the collection throughout the year. The quarter-zip has the original Puma logo and is an easy piece to wear on and off the golf course.

In addition the the quarter-zip there is a logo stripe polo ($65) featuring a large Puma across the chest with color blocking on the top portion of the shirt and stripes on the bottom. It’s made with fusion yarn flex fabric that is moisture-wicking and designed to move through a golf swing.

The logo cotton-blew crew neck sweater ($90) has a very retro sporty look, and the hoodie ($90) will surely be a crowd favorite. There’s also a casual t-shirt ($35), track pants ($85) and snapback hat ($30).

Finish off the the Big Logo ensemble with the limited edition Ignite NXT golf shoe ($120) that has an exploded Puma wordmark logo on the saddle portion, Pro-Form TPU outsole and full-length Ignite foam midsole for all-day comfort.

The collection is available at pumagolf.com and select retailers.
