Exploring Candidates to Replace Paul Azinger in NBC Golf Booth

Paul Azinger is out at NBC, which means is his job is open. Here are some ideas on how the network could fill that chair.

NBC will make some big changes to its golf broadcasts. In case you missed it, it essentially gave Paul Azinger the boot, as his contract came to an end and was not renewed after NBC offered to cut his pay.

Apparently Azinger and his agent gave NBC a counteroffer of not cutting his pay. To which NBC declined his offer to not cut his pay

So the big question is: who’s going to fill his position?

I’ll tell you my top two picks, and then I want to hear yours

First I’m going with Dave Portnoy, head of Barstool Sports.

And as my second pick, give me Charles Barkley, because everything he commentates it is absolutely hilarious and I think golf needs it.

Crazy or brilliant? Who are your picks for the booth? Let me know in the comments here.
