The 2023 California high school football season rolls on Friday (September 8) in all 10 CIF Sections across the Golden State.

There are several nationally-relevant games on the schedule, including national No. 2 St. John Bosco hosting St. Frances Academy (Maryland) and national No. 17 Corona Centennial traveling to No. 4 Bishop Gorman (Nevada).
