California Top 25 high school football rankings by SBLive/Sports Illustrated (10/23/2023)

Five of the 10 CIF sections enter the final week of the regular football season this week: San Diego, Southern, LA City, Central and Sac-Joaquin.
The remaining five — Central Coast, North Coast, Northern, Oakland and San Francisco — all finish up in two weeks.
With Servite's wild 50-42 win over Santa Margarita, all six Trinity League teams moved into the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Top 25 California rankings this week.
Nine of the 25 still have a chance to go undefeated in the regular season — no small feat. Lincoln of San Diego switched places with Carlsbad at the No. 7 spot after finishing its regular season 10-0. The Hornets have a three-week break before the postseason.
The two other San Diego Section ranked teams — No. 23 Granite Hills and No. 25 Helix — engaged in an instant classic last week, with Granite Hills pulling out a wild 44-43 win.
Granite Hills beats Helix in overtime, extends winning streak to 18: 4 takeaways
