Nick Allen, Bradley-Bourbonnais boys basketball

The junior scored 22 points in a 50-41 win over Lincoln-Way Central and 21 in a 62-61 victory against Belleville West.

DJ Bolden, Westinghouse boys basketball

The senior scored 30 points in a 79-72 overtime win against Niles North.

Devin Cleveland, Kenwood boys basketball

One of several talented freshmen in the Chicago area this season, Cleveland scored 20 points in an 85-55 win over Warren. He also had 11 points and three assists in a 57-43 loss to Normal.

Jamson Coulter Jr., Rich boys basketball

The sophomore had 28 points and three assists in a 68-62 win against Young.

Daiquan Daniels, Hoffman Estates boys basketball

The junior scored 28 points in a 70-62 win against Willowbrook.

Alejandro Diaz, Fenton boys basketball

The senior passed the 1,000-point mark for his career in a 59-19 win against West Chicago.

Rylan Foster, Mundelein girls basketball

The senior reached 1,000 career points in a 51-30 win against Buffalo Grove.

Marcos Gonzales, Brother Rice boys basketball

The junior scored 27 points in an 80-71 win against Eisenhower and had 16 points in a 60-43 victory over Lane.

Katie Hamill, Crystal Lake Central girls basketball

The Missouri-St. Louis recruit had 42 points and eight rebounds in a 56-54 overtime loss to Marian Central in the title game of the Northern Illinois Girls Classic.

Morez Johnson, Thornton boys basketball

The Illinois signee and consensus No. 1 senior in the state had 17 points, nine rebounds, five steals, two assists and no turnovers in a 63-62 win over Metamora at the Highland Shootout. He also had 21 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 62-48 win against Richmond Heights (Ohio).

Emily Klatt, Stevenson girls basketball

The DePaul commit had a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds in a 44-39 loss to unbeaten Maine South.

Bryson Mossmann, Routt boys basketball

The sophomore scored 33 points, including the game-winning basket, in a 56-55 overtime win against Liberty.

Leah Palmer, Geneva girls basketball

The senior hit five 3-pointers and scored 26 points in a 58-49 win against St. Charles East.

Joe Pettit, Geneva boys wrestling

The junior was named Most Valuable Wrestler at the Jim Newbill Invitational after edging Joliet Central's Charles Walker 4-3 to win the 215-pound title.

Shaheed Solebo, Lane boys basketball

The senior became the first Champion to reach 1,000 points since 2014 when he hit the milestone in a 62-59 loss to Joliet West.

Meyoh Swansey, Thornton boys basketball

The senior guard had 18 points and eight rebounds in a 63-62 victory against Metamora. He also contributed 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 62-48 win over Richmond Heights (Ohio).

Marko Visnjevac, McHenry boys basketball

The senior scored his 1,000th career point in an 83-28 win against Marengo.

CJ Worsham, Christ the King boys basketball

The senior had 20 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in an 84-60 win over Manley.

Jaheem Webber, Normal boys basketball

The 6-foot-10 senior had 15 points, nine rebounds. four blocks and two assists in a 57-43 win over Kenwood.

Matthew Zobrist, Metamora boys basketball

The junior guard scored a game-high 25 points in a 63-62 loss to Thornton.
