The Louisiana Division II NonSelect state championship game features the top-seeded Franklinton Demons (12-1) the Cecilia Bulldogs (11-3) at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 pm CT.

-Franklinton looking to even the score, driving in Bulldogs' territory at the 42. 5:24 left in the half

-Austin tops the 2,000-yard rushing mark on the season and gets the Demons inside the Bulldogs' 25. On 3rd and 1, a QB sneak nets a first down

-Cecilia may have come up with an interception inside its 10-yard line. Officials are looking at instant replay 8:23 left in the third

-HUGE INTERCEPTION first turnover of the night. Cecilia with the ball leading by five

-The defenses have set the tone this half. Bulldogs gain nine yards and face a 4th and 1 from their own 18. Stewart corrals an errant snap, avoids defenders and manages to get a decent punt off

-Franklinton turns it over on downs. Gavin Soloman with three big plays in the secondary for the Bulldogs

-INTERCEPTION DEMONS Solari picked off near midfield. We still haven't had any points scored in this half

-Franklinton has completely stymied the Cecilia offense this half. The Demons are inside the Bulldogs' 20 as the third quarter ends. Cecilia 29, Franklinton 24

4TH QUARTER

-TOUCHDOWN DEMONS! Sy Austin reverses field and scores to give Franklinton the lead after a scoreless third quarter. 28 carries, 143 yards, three TDs for Austin. Player is down on the field. PAT pending. Franklinton 30, Cecilia 29

-Franklinton continues its momentum with a successful two-point conversion pass for a 32-29 lead

-On 3rd and 11, Solari finally breaks free for a long gain. He improvised and shed tacklers on a 38-yard run. He carries again on the next play deep into Demons' territory

-Solari stripped but Calais recovers for a huge loss. 2nd and 28 from the Franklinton 41

-Stewart pins the Demons at their own 1. Franklinton with a three point lead and the ball. 8:26 to go

-Franklinton gets out of the shadow of the end zone with a first down. Demons nearing 400 yards of offense. Cecilia scored on its first four possessions and then it's been nothing doing since

-Bulldogs sack Crain on third down. Demons with a fourth and five. 4;55 remaining. Stewart calls for a fair catch near midfield.

-Solari stopped short of the first down. He's lying on the turf injured. Missed some games this season with an ankle injury. 3rd and 8 for the Bulldogs. Stewart at QB. He runs for short gain. 4th and 4 coming up.

-Solari comes back into the game and throws incomplete. Turnover on downs. Bulldogs have two timeouts remaining. Franklinton at its 42. 3:21 left

-Cecilia DB Franky Frank strips the ball. Initial ruling is that the runner was down. Instant replay could overturn it and give the Bulldogs the ball again. Soloman recovered it. OVERTURNED CECILIA FOOTBALL ON A FUMBLE

-Calais runs for a first down. Bulldogs in Franklinton territory. 2:18 to go. Demons up by 3

-TOUCHDOWN BULLDOGS! Solari heaves up a prayer into the end zone. Stewart outjumps the defender, bobbles it and catches it. Bulldogs don't get the PAT 35-32 1:17 left, Cecilia regains the lead

-Demons first and 10 at their own 35. They have all three timeouts remaining

-Crain completes two passes into Cecilia territory. Demons use their first timeout. 39 seconds left. Franklinton's freshman kicker made a field goal in the first half

-Franklinton at the Cecilia 28. Crain sacked with 28 seconds left.

-Previous play is under review for a potential fumble recovered by Cecilia
