Massachusetts high school football returns in 2026 with an impressive collection of wide receivers leading teams across the Bay State and New England prep ranks.

High School On SI has selected 10 of the state's top returning pass catchers. Read about each nominee below, then cast your vote for the best wide receiver in Massachusetts entering the 2026 season.

Voting concludes Aug. 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Riley Selvais, St. Johns Prep

Selvais has received 10 Division I offers through his first two years of high school. The class of 2028 receiver had 71 catches for 1,231 yards and 15 touchdowns while playing for one of the best teams in the state.

Mahkai Phillip, Tabor Academy

Phillip didn't get the chance to play in 2024 because it was a transition year. In 2025, however, he had 1,000 receiving yards on 43 catches for 12 touchdowns.

Eric Jefferys, Williston Northampton

Jefferys is coming into this season as just a sophomore, but already holds three Division I offers. Last season, he had 614 receiving yards on 35 catches and nine touchdowns in just five games.

Gavin Brady, Williston Northampton

Playing for one of the best teams in the state, Brady had 68 receptions for 1,198 receiving yards. He had 24 total touchdowns, 17 of them receiving, and five came on punt returns, with one fumble return.

Isaiah Green, Lawrence Academy

Green is a three-star receiver for Lawrence Academy with 17 Division I offers. Last season, he had 10 total touchdowns on 915 yards and 15 receptions, playing receiver, tight end, and punt/kick returner.

Will Mascena, Phillips Academy

As a rising senior for Phillips Academy, Mascena played just four games but excelled in all of them. He averaged 104.2 yards per game and had six total touchdowns.

Blake Nelson, Milton Academy

In his junior season with Milton Academy, Nelson totaled 850 yards on 56 catches for 10 touchdowns. He also had 60 tackles and 13 sacks on the defensive side of the ball.

Michael Sherman Jr., St. Johns Prep

Last season as a sophomore, Sherman had 400 receiving yards on 18 receptions for four touchdowns. He should be one of Christopher Vargas' go-to targets.

Ryan Louis, Somerville

Louis tallied 1,324 all-purpose yards and 15 touchdowns. He was a two-time Boston Globe Player of the Week and first Team All-State.

James Destito, Attleboro

On 65 catches, Destito totaled 875 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior.
