Fifteen standouts from across the state are up for the latest North Carolina High School Football Player of the Week honor.

Week 2 of the 2026 North Carolina high school football season produced huge performances across the state, including record-setting passing numbers, two-way standouts and game-changing defensive efforts.

Here are the 15 candidates for the High School On SI North Carolina Football Player of the Week for Aug. 24-29. Read about each nominee and cast your vote below.

Jaxon Dollar, East Lincoln

Dollar made an impact on both sides of the ball in East Lincoln's 26-24 win over Providence. He caught eight passes for 160 yards and a touchdown, returned an interception for another score and recorded two sacks.

An'Dre Ramseur Jr., Mountain Island Prep

Ramseur contributed in all three phases in Mountain Island Prep's 44-8 win over College Prep Leadership Academy. He caught three passes for 71 yards and two touchdowns, returned a kickoff 56 yards, totaled 116 yards on three punt returns and added six tackles and two pass breakups.

Cooper Wise, Piedmont

Wise rushed 17 times for 231 yards and three touchdowns in Piedmont's 41-6 win over South Stanly.

Ethan Royal, Hough

Royal accounted for five touchdowns in Hough's 35-10 win over Cardinal Gibbons, completing 15 of 19 passes for 285 yards and four scores while adding a rushing touchdown.

Isaiah Woodburn, J.M. Robinson

Woodburn recorded 15 tackles, including two for loss, and intercepted a pass as J.M. Robinson shut out West Cabarrus 37-0.

Noah LeBlanc, East Duplin

LeBlanc starred on both sides of the ball in East Duplin's 40-34 win over Princeton. He rushed 14 times for 202 yards and three touchdowns, caught a 25-yard touchdown pass, added two two-point conversions and led the defense with 17 tackles.

Matthew Smoot, Northside

Smoot forced two turnovers in Northside's 14-6 win over crosstown rival Jacksonville, intercepting a pass and recovering a fumble.

Perry Moore Jr., Trinity Christian

Moore scored four different ways in Trinity Christian's 65-0 win over Sallie B. Howard, returning an interception, kickoff and punt for touchdowns while also catching a touchdown pass.

Shiloh Mukendi, Asheville School

Mukendi rushed 22 times for 245 yards and two touchdowns in Asheville School's 48-21 win over Webb (TN).

Sam Trantham, Tuscola

Trantham carried 26 times for 262 yards and three touchdowns in Tuscola's 55-21 win over Cherokee.

Sam Finch, Fike

Finch accounted for 449 total yards and nine touchdowns in Fike's 63-7 win over South Johnston. The senior completed 17 of 23 passes for 412 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 37 yards and another score on four carries.

Kanoa McGee, Hoggard

McGee controlled field position throughout Hoggard's 31-6 win over Jack Britt. Five of his six kickoffs resulted in touchbacks, and both of his punts landed inside the 20 while averaging 53.5 yards. He also made a 36-yard field goal and all four extra-point attempts.

Cody Robinson, Southeast Raleigh

Anderson Terrell, Franklin

Terrell accounted for four touchdowns without committing a turnover in Franklin's 31-7 win over Robbinsville. The senior completed 14 of 18 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns while rushing four times for 33 yards and another score.

Mike McLean, Scotland

McLean rushed 29 times for 166 yards and three touchdowns as Scotland defeated archrival Richmond 26-13.
