Ohio high school football top stars and best performances (10/2/2023)
There were several big-time high school football performances across the state of Ohio this past weekend. Here are some of those performances.

Luke Brand, Milford
The junior quarterback went 14-of-19 for 224 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a rushing score of his own in the third quarter to make the score 35-0. Milford defeated Walnut Hills 41-7.

Casey Bullock, St. Edward
In Bullock’s first game back from an injury, he didn’t miss a beat. The signal-caller finished 12-of-16 for 257 yards and three touchdowns as the Eagles defeated St. Ignatius 42-7 for their seventh straight win in the rivalry.

Marquise Davis, Cleveland Heights
The junior running back was a familiar face in the end zone, scoring six touchdowns to lead Cleveland Heights past Solon 42-28.
Damien Dawson, Lockland
Dawson threw for 100 yards and rushed for 220 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 48-7 win over New Miami.
Jack Ericson, Ursuline
Tossed three touchdown passes, including a 51-yarder, to lead Ursuline to a 34-20 road win over St-Vincent-St. Mary.
Caleb Jones, Archbishop Hoban
Archbishop Hoban beat Walsh Jesuit 57-7 at Dowed Field and Jones had 76 yards on seven carries, while scoring three touchdowns.

Zach Jones, London
Jones racked up 248 yards on 22 carries and five touchdowns and on defense, he had an interception to help seal a 57-48 win over Jonathan Alder.
Diore Hubbard, Gahanna Lincoln
Rushed for 252 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns in the Lions’ 20-7 win over New Albany.
Jordan Houston, Princeton
Scored two touchdowns for the Tigers including a 19-yard one-handed catch in the end zone. Houston finished with a total of 42 yards on two receptions as Princeton defeated Fairfield 35-14.

Colton Kruse, Liberty Center
The senior running back led the offense with 139 yards on eight carries and five touchdowns as the Tigers blanked Patrick Henry 62-0. One of his biggest plays of the night came on a 52-yard run in the second quarter. He also recorded a fumble recovery in the first half.
Logan Lesch, Sandusky Perkins
En route to a 49-14 victory over Edison, Lesch went 21-of-28 for 428 yards and six touchdowns.
Jordan Marshall, Moeller
The Michigan commit rushed 22 times for 117 yards and three touchdowns while also throwing a 46-yard touchdown pass as Moeller defeated Elder 38-7. In the third quarter, Marshall broke the program’s record for rushing yards.

Dom Trivisonno, Aurora
The senior kicker became the program’s all-time extra point leader during the Greenmen’s 38-0 win over Tallmadge.

Truter went 10-of-13 for 194 yards and four scores to edge Lakota East 38-30.
Tre Wilson, Canton South
Reeled in two long touchdowns of 65 and 69 yards to help South defeat Triway 35-28.
