Sunday June 29th, 2014

The Giants hope to have outfielder Angel Pagan back on Tuesday after an extended absence to rehab his back, CSN reporter Andrew Baggarly tweeted Saturday night.

He has been out since mid-June but his return will come just in time for the Giants' home series vs. the Cardinals, which begins on Tuesday. The 32-year-old World Series champion was batting .307/.356/.411 prior to the injury.

The NL West-leading Giants are 46-34 heading into Saturday night's game at home vs. the Cincinnati Reds
