Report: Dodgers attempting to trade for Joaquin Benoit

The Los Angeles Dodgers want to trade for bullpen help, and reportedly are attempting to acquire Joaquin Benoit, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
#Dodgers not getting Lackey. Told fully in on relievers, led by Benoit. Feel 50-50 they will get some relief help

Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports the San Diego Padres haven't decided if they will trade Benoit after already dealing former closer Huston Street to the Angels.
The 37-year-old has an ERA of 1.88 with three saves and 51 strikeouts in 43.0 innings pitched for the Padres this season.
Benoit is scheduled to make $8.5 million in salary next season.
According to Heyman, the New York Yankees are also interested in the reliever.
