The Cincinnati Reds and MLB unveiled Wednesday the logo for the 2015 All-Star Game, which will be held in Cincinnati.

The logo features traditional Reds mascot Mr. Redlegs, complete with his handlebar mustache, sitting atop the team's "C" insignia.

The 2015 All-Star Game takes place next July 14 at Great American Ball Park, which opened in 2003. It will mark the first time Cincinnati has hosted the event since 1988, when it was held at Riverfront Stadium, the team's old venue.

All told, 2015 will mark the fifth time Cincinnati has hosted, tied for third among all major league cities. The cities that have hosted the most times, New York and Chicago, have had two MLB teams throughout most of modern baseball history.

The Reds have been preparing for the All-Star Game since being named the 2015 host in January of last year. The team sent a delegation of workers and representatives to this year's All-Star Game in Minneapolis in order to help aid preparations.
