Athletes react to Derek Jeter's walk-off hit in Yankee Stadium farewell

New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter ended his career at Yankees Stadium with a walk-off single to right field on Thursday night. Athletes from across the sports world shared their reactions on Twitter.
Detroit Tigers pitchers Justin Verlander and David Price said they were not surprised Jeter finished the game in dramatic fashion. NBA MVP Kevin Durant, Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson and NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson were just a few more of the athletes to congratulate Jeter on his last game at Yankee Stadium.
Jeter on why he is retiring: "I still feel as though I could play, I just don’t want to.''"...Perfect answer. RE2PECT
